You don't have to be the only one looking at it.

"I just want to know what I'm missing."

+ why you don't have to be the only one looking at it

I talk to a minimum of 10 sales reps every week.

Every single conversation sounds some version of the same. "I want to know what I'm missing." "I feel like I'm behind." "I know I should be doing more -- I just don't know what."

Most of them are doing fine. The basics are covered. Saving, investing, probably have a Roth or a 401(k) somewhere. A lot of them actually know what they should be doing -- they just aren't doing it. They need the push.

Some genuinely don't know what they're missing. And some know exactly where they stand, but they don't want to be the only set of eyes on it.

Just because you can manage it yourself doesn't mean you have to do it alone. If you want a second set of eyes on your setup, grab 20 minutes on my calendar -- we'll go through everything and you'll know exactly where you stand.

AI has changed this conversation a lot. People can go online, stress-test their own plan, ask questions, get real answers. I actually encourage that. When someone comes in already informed, it moves faster and goes deeper.

But what people are actually looking for has shifted. The value isn't just having someone with all the answers. It's having someone to offload the mental load to. The accountability. A sounding board. Someone to call when you read something and want to know if it applies to your situation. A second set of eyes before you move money.

That's a different role than most people expect from a financial advisor. It's the one that actually moves the needle.

For the people who want to stay DIY -- who can handle it themselves and plan to keep it that way -- I started offering one-time financial plans. One session, one full review, a clear picture of where you stand and what to do next. Starts at $3,000. No requirement to invest anything with us.

I've helped five families do this since January.

If you feel like you don't know what you're missing, a one-time financial plan is probably the right move for you. Reply to this email with "plan" and I'll send you everything you need to know.
