The people I work with who earn the most, for the longest, all have something in common.
They're not unhappy where they are. They're not sending resumes. But they're always open to the right conversation.
They know the landscape shifts. New companies emerge with real product-market fit. A ground floor opportunity at the right org can change your income trajectory for a decade. The only way to know when one of those shows up is to stay in market, passively, without pressure.
The best financial move most sales reps can make isn't an investment strategy. It's protecting and growing their income.
A close connection of mine just launched a recruiting firm built for exactly this. She's a highly experienced former sales rep who now places top sellers into high-earning roles at high-growth tech companies. She's looking for high earners who want to stay informed about what's out there. Not people in a panic looking for an exit.
The firm is called PClub Talent. She sent me two roles I wanted to pass along.
Cybersecurity Enterprise AE — New York City (east coast considered)
~$250K OTE (50/50)
Full-cycle enterprise AE at an AI-powered cybersecurity platform. They've raised $44M, have strong traction in Europe, and are building their first US team now. Selling $80K–$300K+ deals into enterprises with 5,000+ employees. BDR support on tier 2 accounts. They're looking for someone who started as a top BDR, has moved into mid-market or commercial, and is ready to step into enterprise.
Senior AE, Market Research SaaS — Remote (US)
$220K–$250K OTE
Full-cycle new business hunter at an AI-powered consumer insights platform. Inc 5000 two years running (2024 and 2025). Deal sizes from $100K to $500K+. They want a proven top performer from a high-growth SaaS environment, President's Club caliber, who can build their own pipeline comfortably.
If either of those sounds interesting, or you just want to be in the network for when the right thing comes along, check out PClub Talent here. That's my referral link.
The best thing you can do for your finances is always look after your income.
